Abstract

The clinical, radiographic and pathological anatomy aspects of a hypertrophic osteopathy case in a horse are described in the present article. After a relatively short evolution, the horse showed intense and widely distributed bone alterations, affecting the forelimbs from the second phalanx to the scapula and the hindlimbs to the pelvis. In the head, frontal bones, the cephalic and zygomatic portions of the temporal bones and the horizontal portion of the mandibula were also involved.
