Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to ensure that their submission complies with all the items listed below. Submissions that do not meet the guidelines will be returned to the authors.
- The work is original, unpublished, and not under review by another journal;
- The file is in Microsoft Word or OpenOffice format;
- The font used is Times New Roman, size 12;
- The text is double-spaced with 2.5 cm margins;
- The full names of all authors and co-authors are included, along with their respective affiliations (position and full name of the institutions to which they are affiliated);
- The ORCID number of all authors and co-authors has been provided (click here to get your ORCID for free);
- The title, abstract, and keywords are provided in both Portuguese and English;
- Figures and tables are inserted within the body of the text, with good resolution, captions, and source credits;
- If the work involves the use of animals, the approved protocol from the Ethics Committee has been attached;
- References and in-text citations follow ABNT formatting guidelines;
- URLs and DOIs are included in the references whenever possible;
- The text complies with the guidelines described in the Instructions for Authors and the Author Tutorial.
